HUMMUS IS LIFE!



Because HUMMUS IS LIFE! Yes that's right. LIFE! If you are anything like me, you might've at one point found yourself in the depths of a pretty expensive hummus habit.. But don't worry, making this god like food at home is so quick, cheap and easy you'll be able to spread it, eat it and dip it on ALL THE FOODS FOREVER!

INGREDIENTS

*Feel free to add/switch ingredients to flavour your hummus to your liking..

- 2 cups of Chickpeas (Dried)

- 6 cups of water

- 1 tsp Paprika

- 1 tsp ground Cumin

- 1/2 cup Olive Oil

- Extra 1/2 cup water

- Juice of 1 large Lemon

- 8 cloves of Garlic

- 2 Tbsp Tahini

- Salt and Pepper to taste

-Parsley to Garnish

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

-Food processor or blender

-Large Saucepan

METHOD

  1. Bring 2 cups of dried chickpeas and 6 cups of water to the boil, then simmer until soft for 45 minutes

  2. Drain and rinse chickpeas, then add them to the food processor with all of the other ingredients and blend until smooth!

  3. Enjoy!
